Awakening Hope (Updated Edition - 2018) Since the release of the 2011 edition Mary has delved deeper into the neurological and structural brain changes that result from early trauma and interrupted attachment. These styles create a series of defensive behaviors in response to a foundational distrust of attachment that pervades every relationship.
