Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

A.J. Hamler is the editor of The Collins Complete Woodworker and the former editor of Woodshop News. Hamler’s articles on woodworking have appeared in American Woodworker, Handy, Popular Woodworking, Wood Magazine, Woodwork Magazine, and Woodworker’s Journal. An active Civil War reenactor for nearly 20 years, Hamler has written articles for Camp Chase Gazette, the leading Civil War reenactor publication, and he portrayed both Union and Confederate soldiers in the 2003 movie Gods and Generals.


A. J. Hamler is a woodworking editor and writer who has written articles for Handy, Wood Magazine, Woodshop News, Woodwork Magazine, and Woodworker’s Journal. He is the former editor of The Collins Complete Woodworker, the author Civil War Woodworking, Volume I as well as several science fiction novels and short stories, and is a Civil War reenactor. He lives in Williamstown, West Virginia.
