The Ballad of Rango: The Art & Making of an Outlaw Film - Hardcover

Inhaltsangabe

Unlike any animated feature you've ever seen before, Rango is an utterly unique story from acclaimed director Gore Verbinski. A highly entertaining adventure, Rango marks the debut of Verbinski's production studio, Blind Wink, and is the first full-length animated feature from Industrial Light & Magic. Johnny Depp voices Rango, and is joined by a group of notable actors including Abigail Breslin, Isla Fisher, Bill Nighy, Ned Beatty, and Alfred Molina. This innovative film blends off-beat humor, eccentric characters, and a distinct visual style with the enduring heroic archetypes of the classic Western to create a wondrous cinematic experience. Rango, like its lead character, is a film that set out one day to find itself and did, to great effect. Backed by some of the most vivid concept art produced for any animation to date, The Ballad of Rango tells its story like it is.
