Inhaltsangabe

Every Hero needs a Villain. Love Thy Nemesis.

The Horse has been the arch-enemy of The Navigator for years. But The Horse feels The Navigator's moral compass slipping, and even a villain can’t let that happen. The Horse decides to get a closer look into The Navigator's past that he's buried deep in his subconscious and find out what drives a person to make the right choice, and what propels someone to make a selfish one. Created and written by Coheed and Cambria frontman Claudia Sanchez (Amory Wars) and Chondra Echert (Key of Z) with stunning neon art from newcomer Daniel Bayliss, this volume collects the complete story originally released in TRANSLUCID #1-#6.

Each part of The Amory Wars series features the same title as its respective Coheed and Cambria album, as each album tells different parts of the said story.

Von der hinteren Coverseite

Authors: Claudio Sanchez and Chondra Echert Artist: Daniel Bayliss Cover Artist: Jeff Stokely What's to Love: Discover the tortured psyche of a hero in this story from Claudio Sanchez and Chondra Echert, the writers who gave us The Amory Wars saga, Key of Z, and Kill Audio. Plus, you will never forget the psychedelic superhero mindscape from acclaimed newcomers Daniel Bayliss and Adam Metcalfe! What It Is: We call The Navigator a hero. We call The Horse a villain. The two have been locked in a battle for years, fighting for the soul of New York City. But are they just two sides of the same playing card? Translucid is a startling deconstruction of the classic bond between a hero and his villain, and shows what it takes to push a person to take up either mantle. Collects the entire miniseries, issues #16.
