Life must be built, little by little, line upon line, with trust, patience, longsuffering, diligence and commitment. Shortcuts in life will be offered but we are not to be deceived by them. Shortcuts will end up leading us into a ditch! True honour goes to those of us who go above and beyond the call of duty. God desires our words to carry weight and be honorable. Proverbs 22:21 says Choose a good reputation over great riches; being held in high esteem is better than silver or gold.
