Known for works such as Childe Harold's Pilgrimage and Don Juan, Byron combined lyrical power with a strong sense of individuality and defiance. His creation of the "Byronic hero" left a lasting mark on European literature, and his works continue to be widely read for their emotional intensity and philosophical depth.
