Following his first book, Radio-Activity, Radioactive Transformations was yet another seminal work on radioactive materials by this brilliant, energetic scientist who laid the foundations for modern nuclear chemistry and physics. Indeed, the work was so valuable that in 1908 Rutherford was awarded the Nobel Prize in Chemistry for his research on the disintegration of elements and the chemistry of radioactive substances. This book is a photo-reproduction of the original 1906 edition. It contains all of Rutherford's original text, charts,and diagrams.
