Hocus Pocus Learn to Focus is a story about Miss Lily the Lioness and her class of children who just wont pay attention. With the help of Brainey the Butterfly and her focus pollen dust, the children soon figure out how to solve their own different problems with focusing.

Randy Cazell is an elementary guidance counselor who wants to help students learn practical approaches to help them focus in school. Her six year old granddaughter, LP, contributed the life to the story by creating and illustrating each character. This story is a fun way to show students different strategies to solve their focus problems and develop self-control.

There are several practical activities included at the end of the book. These can be used with elementary students to help identify focus problems and to develop individual focus plans.
