'The Art of Clinical Supervision' is not merely a technical manual, although it provides clear, clinically-proven approaches. It is a volume designed both to increase one's motivation to employ the supervisory process in an intelligent, well thought out fashion, and to encourage a deep desire to respond to the call to be both professionally and spiritually attuned to the mission of supervision. This book takes a comprehensive approach and presents itself as an introductory view of the whole panorama of supervision as an opportunity. Robert J. Wicks, series editor
