He is an official advisor to several international film festivals, writes for a variety of publications including the "Observer," the "Big Issue" and "Time Out," and reviews crime in a monthly column in the "Guardian." He is also contributing editor to "Mystery Scene," a director of London's Crime Scene Festival and a winner of the Anthony Award.
