Dr. Douglas J. Fiore is currently the Specialist for K–12 Leadership at the Virginia Department of Education. Chip Joseph has spent the last 16 years in public education working as a teacher and in various leadership roles. He a holds a bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education from The College of William and Mary and a master’s degree in Administration and Supervision from The University of Virginia.Although this is his first publication, Chip enjoys writing in various forms, including music and poetry.Chip and his wife, Karen, live on a farm in Montpelier, Virginia. They have three children, Cary, Jake, and Sadie.
