Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

New York Times best-selling author and video game pioneer Jordan Mechner has created games including Prince of Persia, Karateka, and The Last Express. He joined forces with Ubisoft to relaunch his classic franchise in 2003 as game designer of Prince of Persia: The Sands of Time, then with Disney as the first screenwriter of the 2010 feature film adaptation. Jordan's books include the Eisner award-nominated graphic novel Templar (with LeUyen Pham and Alex Puvilland, 2013); Monte Cristo (Mario Alberti, 2022); Samak the Ayyar, an adaptation of an ancient Persian tale; and his 1980s game development journals The Making of Karateka and The Making of Prince of Persia. Jordan has two children and lives in France.

LeUyen Pham and Alex Puvilland have not only illustrated Templar, but also Prince of Persia, the graphic novel, with Jordan Mechner and A.B. Sina. Alex works for DreamWorks Animation as a visual development artist, and LeUyen is the illustrator of over forty books for children, including Fallingwater and her own The Bear Who Wasn’t There.
