Mathematics for Veterinary Medical Technicians provides a one-semester course in the basics of mathematics needed for Veterinary Technicians and Assistants. This revised edition has incorporated suggestions for improvement; some material has been reordered to improve presentation. The course covers fractions, decimals and percentages without the use of calculators as is the case on many State Board Exams. In addition to basic mathematical computations, several chapters are devoted to application problems involving dosage, concentration, dilution and the computation of infusion rates. An introduction to reading graphs is presented as well as a chapter on basic statistical concepts and measures.
