Inhaltsangabe

The sermons, preached primarily at Westminster Abbey, consider the sure hope in Christ and the consummation of the age that we can reach through patience and through the comfort of scriptures. Westcott's first five sermons focus on the Epistle to the Hebrews. The second half of the book looks at some special aspects of the person and work of Christ.
