Von der hinteren Coverseite

When the peaceful town of Red Mud Flats finds itself in kudzu chaos, it takes the courage of Bobby Lee, the creativity of Kudzu Katie, and the cooperation of the townspeople to transform the smothering green monster of kudzu into a small-town miracle. Though the blanket of kudzu vines has hidden Red Mud Flats from the outside world, it has not completely covered the town's hope.

Bobby Lee may live in a quiet, little town, but when it comes to adventure, there's no stopping his strong spirit. Although only a young boy, he bravely volunteers to journey through the kudzu-covered forest to find Kudzu Katie, the only one who can save the town from the frightening vine. Kudzu Katie's insight into the possibilities of the sprawling green plant shows the citizens of Red Mud Flats that their kudzu is really a blessing in disguise.

An award-winning technical and freelance creative writer by profession, Jennifer Holloway Lambe is an active member of the Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators. As a wife and mother living in Nashville, Tennessee, Lambe still finds time to "voraciously" devour books from the local library or one of the three book clubs to which she belongs. When she was a child, her mother regularly took her to the library to get books, which they read together at home. This is why she believes she has always loved to read and, ultimately, why she became a writer.
