Foreign Direct Investment Statistics: How Countries Measure Fdi 2001 - Softcover

This report discusses the progress made towards developing statistics on foreign direct investment (FDI) levels in the global economy, in accordance with international data standards established by the IMF and the OECD. The report is based on data obtained from the 2001 update of the joint IMF/OECD Survey of Implementation of Methodological Standards for Direct Investment (SIMSDI), covering 30 OECD countries and 31 other IMF member countries.
