This is the fourth in a series of four books that progress in difficulty. These theme-based reproducibles are designed to improve the reading skills of students who are struggling with comprehension. Topics are of high interest to appeal to older students with low literacy skills. Approaches include getting the main idea of a text, cloze activities, literal and inferential questioning and challenges. The books progress in difficulty. This book is for students, in grades one to twelve depending on need, who read with poor understanding. This can be used in conjunction with the Literacy Lifters series.
