Featuring a balance of theory and practical application, this text examines the use of electro-optic architectures and high-resolution encoding techniques that directly digitize wideband signals in a digital receiver. It explains symmetrical number system (SNS) signal processing techniques that can be applied to designs using symmetrical folding wave-forms, providing a high-performance framework for getting optimum results from such systems.
