Irving H. Buchen is a member of the doctoral business faculty of Capella University, a distance education institution. Previously, he taught and served as an administrator at Cal State, University of Wisconsin and Penn State. He is also an active management and education consultant, a Senior Research Associate with Comwell, HR Partners, and Ed/Visons, and is CEO of his own training and coaching company. An active researcher, Buchen has published over 150 articles and numerous books including Democratic Learning and Leading (2004) and The Future of the American School System (2004), both by ScarecrowEducation.
