Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Deborah David, Ph.D., has written over 30 articles, papers and book reviews in the area of sex roles and the family. After teaching graduate and undergraduate courses at Brooklyn College, Northeastern University, and Montclair State University, her early research in the area of sex and society led to a career in marketing and advertising. Deborah is currently a full-time faculty member in the department of Advertising and Marketing Communications at New York’s Fashion Institute of Technology and is president of Deborah David Marketing Research. She is the co-editor of The Forty-Nine Percent Majority: The Male Sex Role.

Paul Frediani, ACSM, is certified by the American College of Sports Medicine as a medical exercise specialist and is a continuing education provider for the American Council on Exercise. Paul began his path in fitness at the age of twelve, surfing the chilly waters off the San Francisco coast. He later became the San Francisco Golden Gloves and the Pacific Coast Diamond Belt Light-Heavy Weight Boxing Champion. An Elite+ trainer at Equinox Fitness Club in New York City, Paul has written several books on fitness and has appeared nationally on television and in print. Paul was a presenter at both the 1997 IDEA Convention and the 1998 DCAC Convention. He is president of BoxAthletics, a fitness training company, fitness director for the Hamptons Boot Camp, and fitness advisor for Getfitnow.com. His books include Surf Flex, Golf Flex, Net Flex, Ski Flex, The Boot Camp Workout, The Power Band Workout, Powersculpt, and Tri Power.
