Inhaltsangabe

Powell, previously a rodeo cowboy and ranch manager, now a teacher of a method of horse training based on observation of wild horses, explains how to understand and work with a horse's instincts. He looks at the horse as prey and herd animal, and tells how these two factors influence equine culture and behavior. He describes many practical applications of his philosophy, including teaching a horse to load into a trailer without fuss and to stand still while being mounted. Annotation c.
