Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

Ann Dugan is Executive Director of the Institute for Entrepreneurial Excellence, which encompasses the Small Business Development Center, the Entrepreneurial Fellows Center, and the Family Enterprise Center at the University of Pittsburgh, Katz Graduate School of Business. Ann has been actively involved in the franchising industry for many years, initially as a franchisee and later moving into research, analysis and education of the public. Ann has a BS in Economics and a MBA from the University of Pittsburgh. Ms. Dugan has been involved with the International Franchise Association Educational Foundation for a number of years and was Conference Chair of the 1996 Society of Franchising program. Ann is the author of numerous articles on franchising and conducts seminars around the country on this subject. Ms. Dugan's most recent book, Franchising 101 is now available, from the ASBDC and/or Upstart Publishing.
