Arguing that Christ explicitly made his mission the model for ours, Stott develops the anthropological and missiological heart of the mission of Christ, resisting every attempt to bifurcate the work of God in the world, making some things "sacred" and others "secular," some parts of life what God cares about and other parts of life what he does not care about -- at least as much . After this serious examination of the mission of Christ, the final section is called, "Practical Implications," where Stott says, "We must then begin with vocation," and therefore repent of the unbiblical hierarchy that the Church has taught so widely and well for most of its history.
