GUO-MING CHEN is a Professor of Communication Studies at the University of Rhode Island. He is the founding president of the Association for Chinese Communication Studies and is the author of Foundations of Intercultural Communication and Communication and Global Society.
RINGO MA is a Professor of Communications at State University of New York College at Fredonia. He has contributed many articles to professional journals, and was the recipient of the 1997 Distinguished Scholarship Award from the International and Intercultural Communication Division of the National Communication Association.
