MICHAEL PROSSER is Kern Professor in Communications at the Rochester Institute of Technology and Professor at the University of Virginia. He is the series editor for Civic Dicourse for the Third Millennium published by Ablex.
K. S. SITARAM is Professor of Radio-Television at Southern Illinois University at Carbondale. He was the founding chair of the Intercultural and Development Communication Division of the International Communication Association. He is co-editor of Civic Discourse: Multiculturalism, Cultural Diversity, and Global Communication from Ablex.
