KEN GIRE is the author of more than a dozen books, including Intimate Moments with the Savior, Windows of the Soul, and Between Heaven and Earth. He has won two Gold Medallion awards, two CS. Lewis Honor Book awards, and one of the titles he coauthored was voted Book of the Year by Campus Life. His four-book "Moments with the Savior" series has sold more than 250,000 copies.

A full- time writer for the past eight years, Ken has also been involved in the ministries of Young Life and Insight for Living.

Ken is a graduate of Texas Christian University and Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife Judy have four children and two grandchildren, and make their home in Monument, Colorado.
