The idea of doing this book originally came from a conversation between Israel Regardie and Patrick Zalewski during 1983 in New Zealand. The decision to publish the Inner Order Rituals of the 6=5 and 7=4 was not made lightly, but Regardie and Zalewski both thought that these were better out in the open for all to use. Their feelings were summed up in Regardie’s work WHAT YOU SHOULD KNOW ABOUT THE GOLDEN DAWN (New Falcon Publications), in which he wrote: "Obligation to personal allegiance, whether tacit or avowed, is the ideal method of enhancing the personal reputation of those who for many years have sat resolutely and persistently upon the pastos of the hidden knowledge. If by any chance the hidden knowledge were removed from their custody, their power would be gone. For in most cases, their dominion does not consist in the gravitational attraction of spiritual attainment or even ordinary erudition. Their power is vested soley in the one fact, that they happen to be in possession of the private documents for distribution to those whom they personally wish to bestow a favour as a mark of their esteem." Regardie also hated to see the Golden Dawn system abused. He thought that the publication of the 6=5 and 7=4 Grade Rituals, in their original form, might minimize that abuse by those who would change the rituals at a later date. “The publishing of secret inner order rituals was a difficult decision, courageously made by Regardie and Zalewski; and carried out, of course, by Christopher S. Hyatt and New Falcon Publications …this book is a must have for every Golden Dawn student.” –William S. Hyatt, M.Ed., M.S.

Taschenbuch. Zustand: Neu. Delfina Marquez-Noe (illustrator). Neuware - When the first edition of the Secret Inner Order Rituals of the Golden Dawn book was released in 1988 it was about an unknown Golden Dawn temple, Whare ra, in New Zealand, that few people had heard of. It had closed its doors some ten years earlier after its founding in 1912 by Dr Robert Felkin. Many of the elderly adepti were then still living at the time of the books publication. This book revealed not only the history of Whare ra temple in Havelock North, but that some of its adepti had taught others its teachings, rituals and methodologies. The real surprise in the book was the first publication of the 6=5 and 7=4 rituals of the Stella Matutina, which author Pat Zalewski, had been awarded. The second edition has made a number of corrections to the historical element of the book in lieu of more recent research and also additions to the 6=5 and 7=4 rituals, which had a number of copying errors and omissions in them. This edition presents a far more balanced perspective on the last of the Stella Matutina temples from the point of view of its members, as told to the author and of the struggles they had in continuing it into the 1970s.
