In forty years as a teacher, Barbara Wing has worked with piano students at every level, both in her home and at the Levine School of Music in Washington, DC, where she founded a continuing education program that gave more than 1,000 teachers the necessary skills to develop musical talent. She holds degrees in music from Wellesley College and the University of Maryland, and she continues to perform as a duo-pianist, chamber music pianist, and lecture recitalist. She has played at many venues around Washington, D.C., including the Kennedy Center, and has authoried articles for "Clavier" and "Keyboard Companion."
