Dave Garratt has been keeping saltwater fish for more than 25 years. He is a regular contributor to hobbyist magazines such as Tropical World and Tropical Fish, and specializes in articles aimed at beginners.

Tim Hayes writes extensively on reefkeeping for a variety of aquatic magazines. He is a regular contributor to Practical Fishkeeping, where he has a monthly column and is a key member of an expert advisory team.

Tristan Lougher is a qualified zoologist with a passion for saltwater aquariums. His role in the retail side of the ornamental fish industry enables him to give and receive vital fishkeeping advice. He is a regular contributor to Marine World magazine.
