"Someone should have told me broken bones heal, but broken people don't". When experiencing loss ,grief ,pain and trauma she discovered that words did not only have the power to educate but they had the power to heal. When she realised that the words within the poems started to help the people around her, she decided that she couldn't afford to not place them in a book. This book is for people to discover parts of themselves within the pages, in-between the words and amongst the emotions felt. The Ink In My Scars is a short collection of poetry spoken from real-life experiences, offering insight into both the damaging and the healing.
