Musician, aerospace engineering, university physics instructor and many more previous "professions" were his warmups for writing, which he does so feverishly that at the moment he has two new books, Little Women with Big Guns and Krakenstein vs. Koalatron, and a comic novella, Nakedman: Epic Tales of Uncomfortable Adventure all scheduled for release through Kent Hill Productions/KHP right on the heels of this collection. A lifelong fan of rock music, classic SF and fantasy movies and the supernatural, Candela lives in Godfrey, Illinois with his wife Jackie, who makes all his work possible, and a cadre of fascinating cats, who keep him thinking.
