Laekan Zea Kemp is the author of the picture books A Crown for Corina, illustrated by Elisa Chavarri; Home Is a Heartbeat, illustrated by Magdalena Mora; Desert Song, illustrated by Beatriz Gutiérrez Hernández, and numerous other titles for young readers.
