This historical fiction novel describes the story of a modern mid-life crisis, and the heaven sent help that got a family through it. It tells the story of the many stark realities faced by the early settlers in the harsh desert of southern Utah in the early 1900’s.

The entire community depended on one man's dedication, courage and strength. If he failed, the whole town would suffer greatly and possibly become just another American ghost town.
