Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Kelli Pearson is passionate about helping kids learn math with joy.
She remembers, “I wasn’t great at math as a kid. It was all rules and memorization, with long periods of feeling frustrated, bored, and confused.
“I remember asking myself, ‘Why does math have to be so hard?’ I was a teacher, and I’d seen how powerful play could be. I was sure kids could learn math better and faster if they had fun with it. So I wrote Miss Brain’s Cool Math Games.And the results have been incredible.”
Kelli is the founder of Artful Math (artfulmath.com) and math teacher for a mixed 4th and 5th grade class. In her free time, she can usually be found in a hammock with a book and a very opinionated cat.
