Dennis Rae Maggard is a recovering long-distance sailor living in Palo Alto, California with his lovely wife Pamela and his little sailboat "Pamela." He occasionally finds himself in deep solitude, either on a sailboat or in the wilderness, leaving him to face himself alone. Short of going beserk, he writes.
