Über die Autorinnen und Autoren

Harry Gold is a Bay Area-based blues and jazz guitarist, pianist, arranger, and singer. He is also an audio engineer and an Avid Certified Instructor for Pro Tools and Sibelius. Gold works as an adjunct professor at Academy of Art University, where he teaches classes in Logic, Pro Tools, music production, score preparation, arranging, and composition. He also operates Fools Gold Studios in Berkeley, California.

Ryan Rey is a composer, guitarist, educator, and San Francisco native. He teaches courses in Logic Pro X, music theory, piano, and sound for picture at Pyramind; studio recording and AV technology at Diablo Valley College; and a variety of subjects online through Pyramind's Mentorship Network. Rey is currently director of the concert series Seventh Avenue Performances. He is also on the board of directors for Ninth Planet. Rey plays guitar and has composed for production music library CrimeSonics.

Frank D. Cook is a musician and long-time digital audio user. He has worked in publishing and education for more than 20 years. Frank is the author of the acclaimed Pro Tools 101 course book, along with numerous other book titles in digital audio. He has taught college courses in commercial music, has authored four Pro Tools video training courses for LinkedIn Learning, and is an Avid Master Instructor.

Eric Kuehnl is a composer, sound designer, and educator. He is the Director of Partner Programs for NextPoint Training, and the Co-Director of the Music Technology Program at Foothill College. Previously, Kuehnl has worked at Avid Technology and Sony Computer Entertainment America. He holds a master's degree from California Institute of the Arts and a bachelor's degree from Oberlin Conservatory, and studied composition at the Centre Iannis Xenakis in Paris.
