Josh Walker, guitar guru and ferret lover, has two New Year’s resolutions – 1) to talk to the girl with the turquoise hair he couldn’t stop looking at (perving over) in the library and 2) for his death metal band, Goat Fiend, to finally hit the big time. Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor
Jackie works as a webmaster for a drugs charity in London. In her spare time she helps out at animal charities, plays guitar, and takes her dog (a very furry Finnish Lapphund) for long walks in the country. She also works as a befriender for a UK eating disorders association. Jackie lives near London with her two daughters. They give her LOTS and LOTS of material for her writing so much of what's in her books is based on the real-life ups and downs of being a teenager. Half my Facebook friends are ferrets won the 2015 Lincolnshire Young People's book award, was shortlisted for the Concorde book award and was chosen for the UK Summer Reading Challenge.
