These pieces have the ability to channel vast amounts of energy, bestowing untold power whomever might possess them. Hoffman could not divulge to Pell that these findings only confirmed data that had been recovered from the Roswell crash site back in 1947. A case where there’s more than meets the eye….. When Douglas Pell is confronted by a man claiming to be the original owner of the Egyptian plates he is understandably sceptical. After all, no one could walk the planet for five thousand years. The uninvited guest attacks and abducts Pell, bringing DI Peter Darnley into the case to investigate. Hoffman intercedes and brings Pell's daughter Cressida into The Cylinder for protection and questioning. Cressida (Sid) becomes the key to solving the whole mystery of AOA. But Hoffman faces more problems when it becomes clear The Cylinder is not as secure as he believed it to be. Conspiracy theories unwind…. Meanwhile, Darnley, who remains highly suspicious of Hoffman, finds himself drawn into the strange alien secrets of the case. Sceptical and sarcastic, Darnley too discovers that the world around him is not as mundane as he believes. Driven by his own secret motivation he resolves to do whatever he can to help Cressida get back home. Cressida and Darnley uncover the shocking secret agenda behind many unexplained events down through the ages - the creation of the Moon, the construction of the Great Pyramid of Khufu, the mysterious pyramid in Cydonia on Mars, Robert Falcon Scott and Aleister Crowley, the Roswell crash, the creation of Area 51, the shadowy organisation known as the MJ12 and the Moon landings are all pieces of this mind-boggling puzzle.
