Inhaltsangabe

Every now and again, you come across a special pair of glasses. Kai’s glasses happen to be the magical kind. They help him see the truth behind people’s strange behaviours. In this book, he uses his glasses to uncover why a boy is being a bully and thanks to this new perspective and insight, the children choose to resolve the issue with compassion and empathy instead of fear and anger. Inspired by a very special boy named Kai, The Bully is the first in the Kai's Magic Glasses series.

Über die Autorin bzw. den Autor

The Bully is Mitra's big debut into the realm of children's books and the first of many enlightening tales in the Kai's Magic Glasses series. Born in Tehran, Mitra moved to Dubai at the age of two. She completed her postgraduate education at the American University in Dubai with a BFA in Visual Communication. A poet at heart, her passion for writing began at a very young age, catapulting her into the fast-paced world of advertising where she still works as a freelance writer. Mitra lives in Dubai with her husband, Quentin, her two children, Kai and Kiyana, and their wandering feline guest, Sparky.
