Michael first started working with charities at around the age of 8. He has helped a wide range of non-profit organizations from human rights and environmental conservation, to attempting to end the dog meat trade in Eastern Asia. Michael has also been an animal lover his whole life and has found his niche by co-founding Unity Animal Sanctuary with his fiancée Kathy in Southeastern PA. While attempting to end the dog meat trade Michael realized the hypocrisy of his ways. How can someone say it is bad to eat a dog and then go eat a cow? This set him on the path to becoming a vegetarian. He is now working on becoming a vegan.
