Poetry Collection: From The Darkness - Softcover

Inhaltsangabe

A collection of over 75 poems by autistic poet, R J Kitchen. Originally written through the eyes of a teenager living with anxiety and depression, this collection deals with harrowing experiences from unrequited affection and bullying, to rape and self-harm. These are not poems to read to your children or before bed, but instead with a box of tissues and an open mind. One in six autistic children are bullied or abused before they reach adulthood. Arranged in chronological order over five years of evolving poetic style, this collection is proof of the psychological effect such experiences can have. Contains some explicit language and adult themes.
