These are among the most recent, and are drawn up with great care, as well as derived exclu sively from British practice and a metropolitan hospital. As this is also true of a large proportion of the tabulated cases of excision, the comparison seems to be a fairer one than it would be with tables compiled from indiscriminate sources.
