In endeavouring to supply this want, I do not attempt to offer a systematic Psychology. On the contrary, I assume that the student is already familiar with the elements of general psychology.1 He may have had the opportunity of attending an introductory course of lectures on the subject which were accompanied by demonstrations, and in that case he will have observed how artificial is the line of cleavage between general and experimental psychology.
