Sec. 344. [powers of board; appointment and removal of libra rian and assistants; rules.] The board Of library commissioners shall have the management of the state library, appoint and remove the libra rian, with the consent of the governor, and said library commissioners, with the consent of the librarian, shall appoint the assistants in the library during their pleasure.
