The Instant We dispatch'd the Dawson with One hundred sixty six Bales, and this comes by the George with One hundred Seventy one being all We could possibly get a[nd] We are very sorry it was not in our Power [to send] more but the Country both to the Southward, and North [wardjh [as been so disturbed] by the Rajahs, and other [great] Men endeavouring to depose one Another that the Inhabitants were kept in continual Fear of being plunder'd, and the Weavers could not with any safety carry on their Business as usual wish for an Alteration, though at present We [have] but a very bad Prospect of it.
