Your Committee has had under consideration a resolution which was adopted by the House on February 13, 1929, as follows: That the question of granting family allowances should be studied, taking into consideration the respective jurisdiction of both Federal and Provincial Parliaments in the matter, and that the said question should be referred to the Committee on Industrial and International Relations, with instructions to enquire into and make report.
The following witnesses appeared before your Committee to give evidence.
