Having prepared a Field Sketch of the Review and Sham-fight to take place on that portion of Mount Royal Park, formerly known as Fletcher's Field, Montreal, in honour of Her Majesty's sixtieth birth-day, on the 24th May, I thought a description Of the day's proceedings on the field would add 'to its value, and render it more intelli gible. Availing myself of the kind permission of the Lieut General Commanding, I have used his Memorandum, published in the Ottawa Papers some time ago, for that purpose.
