An obvious practical limitation, which is ignored ln stating some of the above relations, is that, in general, for an arbitrarily chosen diameter of wire over the insulation, there will not be an exactly integral number of turns per layer or of layers in the coil. This matter is readily cared for in the design and construction of actual coils. (see p. 305.

It 1s obvious that the relations ab'ove given do not exhaust the list of possible relations of this kind, but it is believed that they include all of the more important ones of practical applicability.
