The need for a publication dealing with the problems of Incubus tion and lirooding has been felt bv those engaged in the raising of poultry. And for some time has expressed itself in the mind of the author. The demand for information iii the various branches of the poultry industry is rapidly increasing. There are two intluences which give rise to this demand. Those alr'ady engaged in the industry to a verv large extent have had to sub their own prob lems; their experiments. Performed often in a haphazard manner. Proving of little value. Thev have had to conduct their poultry plants somewhat as an experimental station rather than as a business enterprise. Lior thein to experiment is too costly. 'i'hen the need for such a bulletin as this. Which it is hoped will aid the poultrytnen to solve many of the perplexing problems confronting them. Is obvious. (in the other hand. Many new-comers to the Province are desirous of obtaining literature dealing with the best methods to adopt in order to be assured of the best success. The business of the Department is to assist these as far as possible. And with this object in view. This bulletin has been prepared.
