Since the marvellous Mark deigns to inform us that pro moted shoemakers and apprentice apothecaries write the dra matic critiques, and gentlemen who do not know the difference between a warwhoop and a Wigwam criticize the Indian campaigns, and folks who will never draw a sober breath until they do it in their graves lead the temperance appeals and clamor about the flowing bowl, I suppose it is the most appropriate thing in the world for an agonized and anatomized student to warble love lyrics to his lady love.
